Iran's Non-Oil Trade With UAE Hits $3.8 Billion

Iran traded 5.79 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $3.81 billion with the UAE during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21), registering a 4.14% and 5% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period.

The data were culled by Financial Tribune from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s latest report.

Iran’s exports to the UAE stood at 4.55 million tons worth $2.12 billion, up 2.75% and 43.57% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. 

Iran mainly exported gas condensate, cathode, liquefied carbides, oil gases and hydrocarbides to the UAE during the three-month period.

The UAE exported 1.24 million tons of goods worth $1.69 billion to Iran, up 9.59% in tonnage and down 21.46% in value respectively YOY.

The imports mainly included cellphones, benzene, machinery and butter.
