Iran exported 96,000 tons of raisins worth $153 million in the last Iranian year (March 2017-18), registering a decrease of 29% and 46% in tonnage and value respectively compared to the year before.
According to the Secretary-General of the Federation of Iranian Food Associations Kaveh Zargaran, major export destinations for Iranian raisins during the period were the UAE, Russia, Kazakhstan, Spain and Ukraine, IRNA reported.
