More than 6,000 tons of processed fruit products, including jam, jelly, marmalade, fruit paste and puree, worth more than $3 million were imported into Iran from nine countries during the last Iranian year (March 2017-18), according to figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
Spain with more than 4,000 tons worth over $2.2 million was the main exporter of these products to Iran followed by the UAE, Italy, Belgium, Thailand, Turkey, France, the Netherlands and Greece, Mizan Online reported.
