Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture will hold a one-day forum titled “US Withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and its Implications for Iran” in cooperation with Algorithm Capital Company on July 18. The main topics to be discussed include history of sanctions against Iran, the structure of US financial and banking sanctions, among other issues, the chamber’s news portal reported. On May 8, US President Donald Trump announced that he was pulling out of the JCPOA and will reimpose sanctions on Iran that had been lifted after the historic deal was implemented in 2016.
