Over $166m Invested in Industrial Town, Parks

Some 7 trillion rials ($166.66 million) were spent on the construction of 19 industrial parks and an industrial town in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), the head of Iran’s Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization.
Sadeq Najafi also said plans are underway to allocate a similar sum to complete projects in Iranian industrial parks, IRNA reported.
Some 19,000 industrial units are being constructed in industrial parks across Iran, the work on 8,000 of which has progressed by more than 60%. According to Najafi, there are 84,000 licensed production units in Iranian industrial parks, 70% of which are active.
