A 110-member economic delegation from Iran’s private sector, led by Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Gholamhossein Shafei, is accompanying President Hassan Rouhani during his visits to Switzerland and Austria. The economic mission will survey capacities for expanding commercial and business ties with their Swiss counterparts on July 2 and 3. It will then head to Austria to explore ways of boosting economic cooperation with Austrian businesspeople. The delegation to these two European countries will comprise economic players active in a wide range of fields, including pharmaceuticals, health, medical equipment, paper and cellulose products, construction, renewable energies, power plants, banking and financial services, food, agriculture, automotive, steel, tourism, rail equipment and information technology, the news portal of ICCIMA reported. Two joint business forums, one in Switzerland and another in Austria, have been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday respectively where B2B meetings will be held.
