A livestock vaccine production unit will be built in Semnan Province in cooperation with Russia, director general of the province’s veterinary organization said.
Mohammad Saeedi added that €10 million worth of investment are required to carry out the project, 25% of which will be provided by the Russian side, Mehr News Agency reported.
“We plan to start constructing the vaccine production unit in the current [Iranian] year (March 2018-19) and it is estimated that the project will come on stream within three years,” he said, adding that the production unit will create 100 direct and some 300 indirect jobs.
