Value of Non-Oil Exports to Syria Rises 27% Value of Non-Oil Exports to Syria Rises 27%

Iran exported 43,592 tons of non-oil commodities worth $326.10 million to Syria in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), posting a 20.99% decline in tonnage and 27.22% increase in value respectively year-on-year, as the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s data show.
Syria was Iran’s 19th biggest export destination during the period. Exports mainly included pipe, profile, radar devices, chemicals and pharmaceutical supplements.
Meanwhile, Syria exported 3,734 tons of goods worth $13.50 million to Iran last year, up 22.04% and 40.61% in tonnage and value respectively YOY.
