The Third International Exhibition of Metalworking, also known as AMB Iran 2018, is scheduled to be held in Shahr-e-Aftab International Exhibition Center in southern Tehran from June 26 to 29.
Companies and businesspeople from Iran, as well as a dozen other countries, including Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and Russian, have announced their readiness to take part in the coming event, IRNA reported.
In a press conference held in the runup to the event on Monday, the visiting head of German Machine Tool Builders’ Association, Wilfried Schafer, said Germany is the second biggest exporter of machine tools to Iran with around 15.1% share of the market after China with a 39.3% share.
More than 200 exhibitors from 20 countries are participating in the last edition of ABM Iran with the aim of negotiating joint commercial investments, technology transfer and enhancing Iran’s industrial sector.
The event is organized by Messe Stuttgart, a major German exhibition and trade fair center, and the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association, VDW.
