First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri designated Caspian Port as one of the country’s official marine trading borders for vehicles, passengers and cargo imported to and exported from Iran in a communiqué to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the High Council of Free Zones on Tuesday. The Caspian Port is owned by Anzali Free Trade Zone in northern Gilan Province. According to Governor General of Gilan Province Mostafa Salari, once the development project of Caspian Port is completed, it will be the largest in northern Iran and make a major contribution to national economic development.
