The consumer price index (using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year) stood at 120.1 for the western province of Kermanshah and 110.4 for the southern province of Bushehr in the Iranian month of Ordibehesht (April 21-May 21), the biggest and smallest among all Iranian provinces respectively. The overall CPI stood at 114.1 in Ordibehesht, indicating a 1.1% rise compared with the previous month, the Statistical Center of Iran reported. The goods and services CPI in the 12-month period ending May 21 increased by 10.9% for Kermanshah–the highest rate among all provinces, and 5.9% for Kohgilouyeh-Boyerahmad–the lowest rate among all provinces, compared with last year’s corresponding period.
