The First International Specialized Exhibition of Paper, Cardboard, Cellulose Products and Related Machinery is scheduled to open at Tehran International Fairground on July 28.
The expo is aimed at introducing the latest products and services, providing the opportunity for domestic and foreign marketing, utilizing the know-how and expertise of other countries, transfering latest technology into the country and introducing investment opportunities for domestic and foreign investors, ILNA reported
So far, companies from China, India, Pakistan and Turkey have confirmed their attendance in the four-day event.
According to Reza Omidi, the head of the organizing headquarters, the exhibition will be supported by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade and related organizations, associations and cooperatives. The exhibition will conclude on July 31.
Iran’s annual paper and cardboard consumption revolves around 1.9 million tons, while annual imports are about 1.2 million tons.
