More than 350 tons of pencil lead worth 47.35 billion rials ($1.4 million) were imported from six countries during the last Iranian year (March 2017-18), based on figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration. With more than 243 tons, China was the biggest exporter of the product to Iran over the period, followed by Germany, the UAE, Turkey, South Korea and Japan, Mizan Online reported.
