Iran traded $1.03 billion worth of non-oil goods with Russia in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), which is 42.14% less compared to the year before, making Russia the 18th biggest trading partner of Iran. As per the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s data, Iran exported 540,486 tons of commodities worth $293.52 million to Russia last year, posting a 49.29% and 34.06% increase in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. The exports mainly included medical supplements, apple, kiwifruit and copper. Russia exported 1.37 million tons of goods worth $743.15 million to Iran during the period, down 34.17% and 52.74% in tonnage and value respectively YOY.  ran mainly imported cathode, radio navigation equipment and sunflower oil from Russia during the period.
