More than 340,500 tons of goods were loaded on 5,845 freight wagons in Isfahan during the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 21), indicating a 55% rise in the throughput volume compared with the corresponding period of last year, the director general of Isfahan Railways said.
“A total of 16,178 freight wagons carrying more than 1.28 million tons of products were unloaded in Isfahan during the same period, registering a 14% increase in volume year-on-year,” Reza Sadat Hosseini was also quoted as saying by the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
