    Non-Oil Trade With France Grows Over 80%

    Iran traded $1.8 billion worth of non-oil goods with France in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), which were 81.84% more compared to the year before, making the European country Iran’s 11th biggest trading partner. As per the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s data, Iran exported 76,975 tons of commodities worth $42.29 million to France last year, posting a 126.90% and 12.39% rise in tonnage and in value respectively year-on-year. The exports mainly included steel, metal, molasses, cocoa butter and oil, saffron and pistachio. France exported 147,947 million tons of goods worth $1.76 billion to Iran during the period under review, up 29.14% and 84.57 in tonnage and value respectively YOY. Iran mainly imported auto parts and pharmaceuticals from France during the period.
