Iran’s minister of industries, mines and trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and his Omani counterpart Ali bin Masoud Al-Sunaidy inaugurated an exhibition featuring Iranian products in Oman’s capital city of Muscat on January 6, reported IRNA. Some 120 economic officials from the two countries, as well as ambassadors from different countries to Oman attended the inaugural ceremony. Around 100 Iranian companies are showcasing various products and services including construction materials, engineering and technological services, hand-woven and machine-made carpets, medical equipment, automobile and spare parts, electrical appliances, foodstuff and furniture among others. The exhibition will be open to public for five days until January 10th. Nematzadeh arrived in Oman on Jan. 5 to participate in the 15th session of the Iran-Oman Economic Commission, which ran from January 5 to January 7. During his visit, he is also scheduled to meet senior Omani officials to discuss bilateral relations in different fields.
