The ministry of industries, mines and trade said on Tuesday that in the first eight months of the current year (end March 20), more than 253 million square meters of tiles were produced in Iran.It added that 797,000 tons of glass sheet and 344,000 tons of glassware were produced over the period, IRNA reported. Iran ranks 4th in the list of the world tile producing and exporting countries. Last year, Iraq was the main importer of tiles and ceramics.
