A high ranking economic delegation, from 30 major companies in Singapore, is to visit Iran on January 31, Mehr news agency reported on Wednesday. The delegation is seeking to promote mutual ties and explore capacities of the Iranian economy, according to the agency. It will be headed by deputy of Singapore Business Federation, which is the organization at the center of Singapore’s trade, investment and industrial ties with the world and is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Members of the delegation will inspect Iran’s biggest trade and business centers during their one-week stay. The parliamentary cooperation groups of Iran and Singapore met a month ago in Singapore to discuss the extension of bilateral ties.
