Three rail projects, namely Urmia, Rasht and the second track of Tabriz railroads, will come on stream in the first half of the current Iranian year that started on March 21, a deputy minister of roads and urban development, Kheirollah Khademi, said.
These projects are part of the government’s plans to connect five provinces to the national railroad system. Of the five projects, only Hamedan and Kermanshah railroads have met the deadline, the news portal of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture said.
