Iran is to export engineering and technical services to its eastern neighbor, Afghanistan, considering the large number of constructional projects there, Mahmood Eskandari, the general manager of exporting services development office in Trade Promotion Organization of Iran told ISNA on Tuesday. The official highlighted Iran’s capabilities in constructing dams and roads and said an upcoming exclusive exhibition, which will be held on February 17 to 20 in Afghanistan, will seek to explore avenues to ease exports of Iranian products to that lucrative market. Presently, detergents and foodstuff are among Iran’s top exports to Afghanistan.
