Tehran, Baku to Sign Railroad Finance Deal

Azerbaijan and Iran are planning to sign a credit agreement in late March for Azerbaijan to finance the construction of Rasht-Astara Railroad, Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev told reporters in Tehran.
The minister noted that the agreement will be signed during the visit of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Azerbaijan later this month, Trend News Agency reported.
The railroad construction is expected to be completed within three years.
