More than 387 tons of balls used in different sports worth 66.94 billion rials ($2 million) were imported into Iran during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Dec. 21, 2017), the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration announced.
The purchases were mainly made from China, Italy, Taiwan, Turkey, Japan, France, Germany and South Korea, Mizan Online reported. About 48 tons of the same product worth more than 6.95 billion rials ($203,000) were exported from Iran during the period under review, with the main export destinations being Azerbaijan, Iraq, Afghanistan, the UAE and Turkey.
