Rail Transit From NE Border Crossing Rises  63 Percent

Over 1 million tons of commodities were transited from Sarakhs rail border crossing in the northeastern Khorasan Razavi Province during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2017-Feb. 20), to register a 63% rise compared with the corresponding period of last year, the director general of Khorasan Razavi Railroad Organization said.
“These products entered the country from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and exited mainly from Bandar Abbas, Razi and Mirjaveh border crossings in the southern Hormozgan, northwestern West Azarbaijan and southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan provinces respectively,"
