Pre-Arrival Declaration in 2 More Customs Terminals

The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration has allowed the pre-arrival declaration of imported commodities in Shahid Bahonar Customs Terminal of Bandar Abbas in the southern Hormozgan Province and in Khorramshahr Customs Terminal of Khuzestan. IRICA first introduced the facility in the clearance system of Shahid Rajaee Customs in Hormozgan, IRNA reported. The new regulation requires traders to supply customs officials with advance information of the goods brought into the country (by recording the information on Epl.irica.ir/TscViewPage) and will enable authorities to calculate the value and set the import tariffs of the items before their arrival. As part of the electronic customs services, Pre-Arrival Value Declaration will provide for quicker processing and ease of trade, IRICA reported on its website.
