12,000 Liters of Diesel Seized From Smugglers

Iranian coastal guards seized 12,000 liters of diesel in the southwest of the country before it could be smuggled across the border. Acting Commander of Iran’s Coastguard Colonel Nader Soheili also told IRNA on Monday that the haul was being carried by two vessels in Arvand River along the Iran-Iraq border. Fuel prices in Iran are considerably lower than in neighboring countries, which tempt smugglers to illegally sell it to them.
