Iran had a 0.34% share in global trade in the last fiscal (March 2016-17), Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture cited World Trade Organization’s statistics as reporting.
According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, Iran’s non-oil foreign trade stood at $87 billion last year, as it exported $43.93 billion worth of non-oil commodities and imported $43.68 billion in return.
The country also exported $41 billion worth of oil and gas during the same period.
