Finnish Agricultural Delegation to Visit Iran

As per an agreement between the chairman of the Agricultural Ministry’s Department for International Affairs, Houman Fathi, and the Finnish Ambassador Keijo Norvanto, a delegation of Finnish agro businesses will visit Tehran in February, IRNA reported. No other details of the visit were available.  The two sides have called for expanding cooperation between their respective private companies. Finland is self-sufficient in most major agricultural products and the key sector accounts for 2.5% of the country’s $186 billion GDP.
