Iran exported more than $7 billion worth of commodities, including oil and gas, to Turkey during the 11 months to Nov. 30, 2017, registering a 68.5% rise compared with last year’s corresponding period, Iran’s commercial attache to Turkey said.
Citing Trade Promotion Organization of Iran’s data, Hamid Zadboom was also quoted as saying by the Persian economic daily Donya-e-Eqtesad that the main commodities exported to the neighboring country included gas condensate, plastic products, zinc, copper, chemical fertilizer, aluminum, metal, steel, chemical products, fruits and vegetables.
Iran and Turkey are signatories to a preferential trade agreement since 2014.
