Iran exported 750,000 tons of dairy products during the nine months to Dec. 22, 2017 to register a 30% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period, Deputy Agriculture Minister Hassan Rokni said. According to the official, Iran exports 20 types of processed dairy products to 30 countries. “Europe, Central Asia, Persian Gulf region, Iraq, Afghanistan and Russia are among the main export destinations,” he said. Last year’s exports stood at 850,000 tons. Dairy products had the biggest share in Iran’s food exports last year and earned $773 million.
