Tehran’s Meager Budget for Entertainment

City Councilor Zahra Nejadbahram said as little as 0.006% and 0.001% of Tehran’s budget were allocated for the development of entertainment infrastructures in the fiscal years March 2016-17 and March 2017-18 respectively. She stressed the significance of happiness in the development of a city, as proved by social and psychological theorists, and said the new management of the city needs to reappraise its policies in this regard and the next year’s budget could be a good starting point, Mehr News Agency reported.
