Zanjan Exports Rise 80%

More than $246 million worth of goods were exported from Zanjan Province during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2017), indicating an 80% rise compared with last year’s corresponding period, director general of Zanjan Customs Administration, Hamid Ahmadi, said.

The exported commodities mainly included zinc and lead ingots, tomato paste, dates (fruit), tissue paper, raisins, polymer, propane, zinc oxide, milk, yogurt, cream, cheese, butter, transformers, insulators, diapers and carpets.

Turkey, China, Iraq, India, Afghanistan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Turkmenistan and Qatar were the main export destinations, IRNA reported
