More than 1.15 million tons of goods worth $905 million were exported from East Azarbaijan Province during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) to register a 28% growth in tonnage and 21% rise in value compared with last year’s corresponding period.
The exported commodities mainly included plastic products, fruit and vegetable, chocolate, confectionery, machinery, mechanical tools, sugar cubes and sugar, cereal, bread, glass and steel, IRNA reported.
These products were exported to 101 countries.
Iraq, Turkey, Georgia, Afghanistan, Armenia, Italy, Pakistan, Russia, Bulgaria and Azerbaijan were the main destinations of Iranian goods.
