In the budget bill proposed to the parliament by the administration of President Hassan Rouhani for the next Iranian year that starts on March 21, 2018, some 10 trillion rials ($238 million) have been allocated to provide incentives for agricultural exports, the spokesman of the parliament’s Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources Commission said. “About $2 billion from the National Development Fund of Iran have been allotted for waste management, watershed activities and environment protection,” Mohammad Ali Shaeri added, noting that based on the budget bill, $300 million will be granted to supply water to rural areas as well as nomads, IRNA reported.
