‘Misbehaving: The Making of Behavioral Economics’ authored by the winner of the Noble Prize in economics for 2017, Richard Thaler, has been translated into Farsi by Behnam Shahaei and is now available in Iran.

“Ordinary citizens, psychologists, managers, economists, sellers, marketers, lawyers and legislators can all use this book to describe and improve their own and others’ behaviors and decisions,” Shahaei was quoted as saying by Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture. The book builds on Thaler’s work as a behavioral economist in trying to present an alternate viewpoint that humans bring along behavioral biases, are error prone and not always rational.

Richard H. Thaler is an American economist and professor of behavioral science and economics at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
