Wide-Ranging MoU With Mexico

A memorandum of understanding on agriculture and rural development cooperation was signed between Mexico’s Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food José Eduardo Calzada Rovirosa and the Iranian Ambassador to Mexico City Mohammad Taqi Hosseini.
Based on the agreement, the two sides will expand their cooperation in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, livestock and plant hygiene, soil preservation, collecting and exchanging germ plasm and battling pests, IRNA reported on Thursday.
The production of fruit, vegetables, grains, seeds, vaccines, pesticides and dairy products, as well as fisheries and agro marketing, poultry production, water management and agro mechanization, is also part of the bilateral agreement.
