    Rise in Esfordi Phosphate Production

    Iran’s major phosphate producer, Esfordi Phosphate Industrial & Mineral Complex, produced 34,364 tons of phosphate during the first seven months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Oct. 22), registering a 5.29% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period. The company’s phosphate extraction during the period was up 79% to 213,941 tons, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported. Esfordi phosphate plant is a subsidiary of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company located in Bafq County of Yazd Province.
