More than 5,760 tons of sweet corn worth close to 200.68 billion rials ($6.15 million) were imported into Iran during the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21-Sept. 22), based on figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
Thailand with over $3.35 million was the biggest exporter of the product to Iran, followed by China, Hungary, Switzerland, Spain, the UAE, South Korea, Lebanon and Malaysia, Mizan Online reported.
