The southeastern province of Kerman will export agricultural crops, mainly onion, to Central Asia, Islam Shahrokhi, a local official with the ministry of agriculture has announced. He added that farmers in the province have already begun harvesting in 4,300 hectares of land, Mehr news agency reported. He also called on farmers not to sell their products to dealers. “There are stalls in Tehran vegetable markets for direct sales to consumers.”
