The government carefully supervises the distribution process of subsidized flour, Mojtaba Khosrotaj, the deputy of Industries, mines, and trade said in Rasht, as reported by ISNA on Friday. The official vowed that the administration will prevent bakeries that are not entitled to subsidies from receiving subsidized flour. The second phase of a plan to raise bread prices nationwide was carried out less than a month ago. Under the new phase, the government allowed 20 percent of bakeries, which buy unsubsidized flour in the market, to sell their bread at higher prices than official rate.
