Close to 215 tons of women’s socks worth 69.4 billion rials ($2.13 million) were exported from Iran during the five months to Aug. 22, figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration showed. Iraq, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Spain and Norway were the main export destinations for Iranian-made socks over the period, Young Journalists Club reported.
