Marble Exports Earn Over $10m

Close to 31,620 tons of marble worth nearly 348.65 billion rials ($10.72 million) were exported from Iran during the five months to Aug. 22, based on data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.

The UK, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Australia, Afghanistan, the UAE, Italy, Tajikistan, Turkey, Romania, Serbia, Iraq, Oman, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Kuwait, Mexico, Brazil, the Netherlands, China, South Africa, Spain, Belgium, Cyprus, Poland, Belarus, Lebanon, Austria and Canada were among the main customers of Iranian marble over the period, Young Journalists Club reported.
