No Change in Tariffs for 4 Years

Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari has promised to keep tariff rates unchanged for the next four years and any change will be limited to emergency situations, the chairman of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture said. “The pledge was made in a meeting with the presiding board of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, where [the new Industries Minister Mohammad] Shariatmadari also signaled readiness to privatize all public companies,” ISNA also quoted Masoud Khansari as saying.
