Tehran to Host China Trade Week

The second edition of China’s commercial exhibition, known as China Trade Week, is scheduled for September 19 to 22 in Shahr-e-Aftab (Sun City) International Exhibition Center in southern Tehran.

More than 200 companies and investors from China will be taking part in the event, exhibiting their latest products in the fields of machinery, electronic household appliances, apparel and textile, interior design, chemical engineering, auto spare parts, energy and lighting, high-tech electronic devices, printing, packaging, plastic products and health, IRNA reported. China is Iran’s biggest trading partner. It exported $10.73 billion worth of goods to Iran in the last fiscal year (March 2016-17), accounting for more than 24% of Iran’s total imports. It imported $8.177 billion worth of Iranian commodities in the same year, accounting for over 18% of all Iranian exports.
