A passenger train between the cities of Isfahan and Zahedan will be launched on Wednesday, the deputy head of Islamic Republic of Iran Railways said. “The train will run once a week at the start, but the frequency can increase in the future as demand grows,” Mirhassan Mousavi was also quoted as saying by IRNA. The route from central Iran to its eastern border passes through the provincial capitals of Yazd and Kerman.
