New Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Masoud Karbasian appointed Foroud Asgari as the caretaker of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration on Monday. Karbasian has been serving as IRICA chief and Asgari as the director general of IRICA’s Technical and Customs Affairs Department since 2013, IRNA reported. The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration works under the direct purview of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.
