The First International Exhibition of Glass and Related Industries is scheduled to be held from August 23 to 26 in Tehran’s International Fairground.
Iranian companies and representatives from France, Italy, Germany and China will showcase their latest achievements pertaining to glass industry’s production lines, raw material processing and production machinery. Producers of bulletproof and building facade glass as well as crystalware will also be present at the event.
According to the event’s manager, Fardad Maqanti, 60% of Iran’s glass production suffice to meet the domestic demand and the rest is exported to Persian Gulf littoral states, Central Asia and Europe, ILNA reported.
Presently, 10 large glass factories in Iran produce 450,000 square meters of glass per day.
