Exports From Kermanshah Surpass $550m

Close to 1.38 million tons of non-oil goods worth $557 million were exported from Kermanshah Province during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), according to the director general of Kermanshah Customs Administration.
The exports, Khalil Heydari added, mainly included household appliances, plastic products, melamine dishes, cement, evaporative coolers, milk cream and tomatoes, adding that the lion’s share of these products headed to neighboring Iraq, IRNA reported.
Located in western Iran, Kermanshah shares 371 kilometers of border with Iraq. Nearly 50% of Iran’s non-oil exports to Iraq are carried out through this province.
