Kitchen Stoves for Neighboring States

Kitchen stoves worth $17.7 million were exported from Iran in the last fiscal year (March 2016-17). The figure stood at $14 million the year before. Export destinations for the product mainly included Iraq, which constituted 47% of Iran’s total exports, Afghanistan (26%), the UAE (8%), Tajikistan (4%) and Turkey (3%). A total of $9.8 million worth of the same kitchen appliance were imported into Iran during the same period from Italy (about 50% of overall imports), China (24%), Turkey (17%), Oman (3%) and the UAE (3%), ISNA reported.
