The revenue of Tehran Customs Administration increased 73 percent in the first eight months of the current fiscal year reaching 14.3 trillion rials ($410 million at market exchange rate), Ahmad Kargari, the head of the customs office told ILNA on Monday. The number of import declarations within the period stood at 35,591, showing an 18 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The total value of imports through Tehran customs over the same period stood at $3.4 billion, showing a 37 percent increase.
